Built on a Simple Belief
NY Energy Project started with a simple idea: every family deserves a warm, safe, energy-efficient home, regardless of their income. Walking through neighborhoods in Queens, Brooklyn, and the Bronx, we saw the same problems everywhere. Drafty homes, sky-high energy bills, and families who had no idea that help was available.
So we got to work. We earned our BPI certification, then our BPI Gold Star contractor status. We became EPA Lead-Safe certified, OSHA compliant, and a NYSERDA EmPower+ participating contractor. We did not stop there. We continue to add certifications and training because the work we do matters, and the families we serve deserve the best.
Today, with a team of 10+ dedicated professionals, we serve all five NYC boroughs and have expanded to New Jersey through NJ Energy Project. But no matter how much we grow, one thing stays the same: we treat every customer the same. Whether it is a free EmPower+ job or a privately funded whole-home insulation project, you get the same crew, the same quality materials, and the same attention to detail.
